ACHEA 12th Annual Conference

The Association of Caribbean Higher Education Administrators (ACHEA) hosts its 12th Annual Conference at Hilton Rose Hall, Montego Bay, Jamaica on July 11-13, 2013 under the theme “The Rules Have Changed: Responding to the New Dynamics in Higher Education”. Discussions/presentation will be centered on one of the following sub themes:

  • Regulating Higher Education: Implications for Administrators
  • Quality Assurance in a Regulated Environment
  • Leadership and Strategic Human Resource Management in Higher Education
  • Communication and Information Technology Management: The Emerging Frontier
  • Financing Higher Education: The Public/Private Partnership Route
  • Facilities Management in Higher Education Institutions
  • New Approaches to Higher Education: Strategic Enrolment Management

The association aims to promote the highest professional and ethical standards and the continuing development of the management capacity among those who have administrative and managerial responsibilities in higher education in the Caribbean, by enhancing the skills of individual members through the provision of training and development programmes and opportunities for effective networking.

The Call for Papers for this conference has been issued with the following deadlines:

  • Abstracts – February 15, 2013
  • Final Papers – May 31, 2013
