The School of Pharmacy in the Faculty of Medical Sciences hosts a guect lecture entitled "The Ayurvedic Approach Towards Health and Disease" featuring Dr Hemant D Toshikhane, M.S, (Ayu) Head, AYUSH Chair, Professor in Ayurveda.

‘Ayur’ means life and ‘Veda’ means science. Hence a science dealing with living conditions is Ayurveda. It is the oldest system of healing which emphasises on practising healthy lifestyle - Professor Toshikhane
