The University of the West Indies Alumni Association (UWIAA), Trinidad & Tobago Chapter hosts “Salud!” a wine festival and networking event in celebration of its 25th anniversary. This wine fest, which takes place from 7pm-10pm, will showcase varieties from more than 12 countries and includes well-known selections like Chardonnay, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet and a host of others, as well as a selection of non-alcoholic wines.

From 10 pm, the “Salud!” fiesta will kick off featuring music by Caesar’s Army DJ’s, Dei Musicale: The Musical Gods alongside an assortment of premium drinks and cocktails.

The UWIAA 2013 Wine Festival is the UWIAA’s primary fund-raiser. Proceeds are used to fund bursaries to students, the annual mentorship program, donations to the library and other official alumni-related initiatives. It also caters for networking among members and the public as well as teach people the art of wine-tasting and selection. 

Tickets for the festival are $500.
