Ever wondered how to get more socially relevant work done in your community? Is our current political structure frustrating you?
The Cultural Studies Program in collaboration with Dr. Dylan Kerrigan presents a Discussion on Active Citizenship: A conversation between seasoned activists and those of us interested in becoming more engaged citizens, actively shaping the quality of our lives and the type of governance we receive.
You will hear from Afra Raymond, Hazel Brown and Michael Als and have the opportunity to ask tough questions about being politically active outside of party politics. Refreshments served.
All UWI students are welcome to take part in the discussion.
