Interested in drama? Here's a foreign spin!
You are invited to the Intercampus Foreign Languages Theatre Festival 2013, hosted by the Modern Languages Department, Tuesday May 28, 2013, at the CLL Auditorium, from 6.30pm-9pm. The evening's performances will cover three languages: Spanish, French and Portuguese (plus Chinese with an English narrator). Everyone is welcome to attend.
The programme is as follows:
6.30pm - Esugata Okusan - Shojoji no Tanukibayashi (Japanese Folktales; with narrator in English) (St. Augustine – Japanese)
7pm - A propos de pattes (St. Augustine – French)
8pm - Na Cola do Sapateado (St. Augustine – Portuguese)
9pm - Tres colores: Negro. Blanco.Rojo.(St. Augustine – Spanish)
The intercampus theater festival is celebrated annually in different UWI campuses. This year, St Augustine campus is hosting the event. The objective is to get the foreign language community together in order to share art and exchange ideas. It is also a good opportunity to showcase the students' skills.
