Join leaders in business, government, education and community development for the UWI AT RISK YOUTH CONFERENCE: Defining The Problem and Developing Solutions: Youth Intervention Strategies To Reduce Crime and Violence, To Improve Outcomes For The Individual, The Schools, and The Family on June 17, 2013, from 8am-4pm.

Hosted by the Department of Behavioural Sciences, the conference will inform the public about the purpose and work to date of the UWI Research Development Impact Fund’s research project entitled:  Analysis of Intervention And Counseling For At Risk Youth To Reduce Crime, Violence And To Improve Outcomes For The Individual, The Schools, and The Family.The conference will feature panel discussions, presentations and workshops on successful intervention strategies to reduce youth misbehaviour, and crime and violence in our schools. Government and agency policy makers, social workers, mental health professionals, business leaders, community relations and community development specialist, youth workers, teachers and educational administrators are especially encouraged to attend.
