The Conference aims to bring together scholarly and practice-based participants with an interest in Ramleela in terms of its diversity, values, traditions and community approaches; and examine the range of religious, community and social  Ramleela experiences that engender positive values in society, and much more.

It is also hoped that this forum will serve to stimulate an exchange of ideas, set up new networks, strengthen existing networks and motivate greater sharing of Ramleela and Ramleela issues among all concerned.

The conference will feature many foreign and local speakers, including the Minister of National Diversity and Social Integration, the Minister of Arts and Multiculturalism, the Principal of the University of the West Indies, and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education.

The conference targets academics, Ramleela practitioners, and those interested in the arts and Ramleela. Anyone may attend.
