The Trinidad & Tobago Mathematics Olympiad Awards Function takes place Wednesday July 3, at 4pm, at the JFK Auditorium of the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. In attendance would be  Minister of Education, The Honourable Tim Gopeesingh; Ambassador for Colombia, His Excellency Alfredo Riascos Noguerd; and Campus Principal, Professor Clement Sankat.

The feature speaker for the awards function is Dr. Camille Wardrop Alleyene, a Trinidadian NASA scientist. Dr. Alleyne has served in several technical management positions both at NASA and the US Department of Defense. She currently serves as the Assistant Program Scientist for the International Space Station (ISS), a science laboratory in space. In this capacity she is responsible for developing and managing the communication strategic plan for ISS research and technology.
