The Institute of International Relations (IIR), the OAS Trinidad and Tobago Office and the National Drug Council of the Ministry of National Security invite you to A Seminar on the OAS Report: The Drug Problem in the Americas, at the Noor Hassanali Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Law, July 22, 9am–12.15pm.
The OAS Report will be presented by His Excellency Ambassador Paul Simons, Executive Secretary, Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD). Other guest speakers include Senator the Hon. Emmanuel George, Minister of National Security of Trinidad and Tobago; is Excellency Ambassador Edwin Carrington, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Prof. Rhoda Reddock, Deputy Principal, The UWI St. Augustine Campus. Chair of the seminar is Professor W. Andy Knight, Director, IIR.
There will be two panels, Overview of the Drug Problem in Trinidad and Tobago and The Report: Rethinking National and Regional Strategies.
