NIHERST, in collaboration with the Faculty of Science and Technology of The UWI, present lectures by 2 of Trinidad and Tobago's leading scientists, on Tuesday November 26, and Wednesday November 27, 2013, at the Noor Hassanali Auditorium, Faculty of Law.
Tuesday 26 - "Are high temperature superconductors full of unparticles?", by Professor Philip Phillips, Department of Physics, University of Illinois, USA.
Wednesday 27 - "Harnessing the power of nano-technologies to diagnose human infectious disease on a global scale", by Professor Haroun N. Shah, Head of Molecular Identification Services, Health Protection AGency, Public Health England.
Both lectures take place from 5.30pm-7pm on their respective days.
