Revenue Reporting Visual Arts and Short Film Competition 2014

The Trade and Economics Development Unit (TEDU) of the UWI Department of Economics hosts a conference titled Creating a Culture of Transparency: Revenue Reportingfrom June 5-6, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency hotel, Port-of-Spain. This event is sponsored by bpTT. 

As part of the conference proceedings, the nation's youth will be engaged through a Visual Arts and Short Film Competition, for which $85,000 in prizes is to be won.  

All students enrolled in a recognised program by April 30, 2014, living or studying in Trinidad and Tobago, between the ages of 15-30 years, are invited to put their talents on display and participate in the following categories: 

  • - Visual Arts
  • - Animation/Anime
  • - Short film

The aim of the competition is to improve awareness of transparency and accountability issues among the nation’s youth so that they can develop an appreciation for these issues.  

Deadline dates: 

  • - March 31, 2014: Registration deadline
  • - April 30, 2014: Deadline for submission of artwork/animation and/or short film

On March 26, 2014, from 5pm, at the JFK Shuttle Station, a Youth Forum will also be hosted.
