The Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social & Economic Studies (SALISES) of The UWI, St. Augustine Campus hosts its 15th Annual Conference from April 23-25, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Port-of-Spain. The 2014 conference theme is: Caribbean Development: Standing still or Standing tall? Theoretical, Empirical and Policy Challenges. 

This year’s Sir Arthur Lewis Distinguished Lecturer is Professor Peter Blair Henry, Dean of New York University’s Leonard N. Stern’s School of Business and William R. Berkley Professor of Economics and Finance. Click here to read more on Professor Henry.
