From Sunday 4-Saturday May 10, 2014, the Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA) hosts "Art and Design", the first of two student exhibitions.

The exhibition opens at 4pm on Sunday 4, at the DCFA Exhibition Hall, Gordon Street, St. Augustine. From Monday 5 to Saturday 10, the exhibition will be open from 10am-6pm daily.

The range of works includes areas of fine arts such as paintings, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, as well as areas of design such as illustrated graphic novels, children’s books, textiles, and an app to aid in the teaching of biology, among other exciting projects.

Stop by anytime to view the results produced by the hard work of The UWI's talented Arts students over the past academic year.

***Schools are welcome at the exhibition, and art teachers wishing to bring their students are invited to contact the DCFA to schedule their appointments on Monday 5 and Friday May 9 in particular, as these will be the best days to receive school visits.***
