The Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) has issued a Call for Papers for its 16th Annual Conference, The W Arthur Lewis Centennial Conference, to be held in Sir Arthur’s native St. Lucia from January 14-16, 2015. The theme of the conference is “Towards Caribbean Prosperity and Happiness in an Equitable World”.
Panels and papers from all fields associated with the Medical and Natural Sciences, Agriculture, Engineering, Law, Education and the Humanities, in addition to the Social Sciences and the full range of interdisciplinary studies, are welcome.
Deadlines for submission and notification:
Abstracts of papers in Microsoft Word format should be no more than 200 words and must be submitted by e-mail to wal@uwimona.edu.jm, and be accompanied by a brief biography of no more than 125 words, along with the affiliation of the author(s). Proposals from students are particularly welcome and bursaries are available to support the attendance of selected Caribbean students.
