Bring back the old time days at UWI’s Family Day, on Saturday June 28, 2014, at the Sport and Physical Education Centre, from 10am-5pm.

Organised in teams according to faculty and departments, the day begins with a Flag Competition, followed by a Staff Cook Off on site! Team areas will be decorated according to the theme, "Bring Back the Ole Time Days".

The rest of the day will be filled with fun activities. You'll have the chance to play school day classic games, like tug-o-war, kite flying and sack racing, to name a few. Lunchtime will be a representation of staff who can cook as each team will provide part of a planned menu. Don't forget to take the kids over to the Kid Zone, designed just for them.

There will also be a DJ playing music throughout the day, and popular MC Nikki Crosby will announce games and results.  

Team members must register with their team leaders BEFORE the day of the event. Access to the Family Day will be granted upon displaying your Staff ID Card. Each staff member is allowed three guests (including kids). Tickets will be distributed with team T-shirts.
