The Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS) in conjunction with the Trinidad and Tobago Medical Association (TTMA) hosts the TTMA’s Annual Medical Research Conference in celebration of the Faculty’s 25^th anniversary. The theme is "Evidence-Based Medicine".    

27 of the conference’s 30 presentations are from candidates doing postgraduate work in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, UWI St. Augustine, with an aim to highlight the plethora of academic and clinical research coming out of Faculty. The TTMA hopes to recognise the Faculty’s commitment to evidence based medicine and continuing professional development.   

The conference takes place on Sunday July 20, 2014, from 8am-4pm, at the Hyatt Regency Conference Centre, Port of Spain. 

Cost:  

• - Pre-Registered (before July 18) - General admission - $400 || Medical students (with ID card) - $300
• - On Site – General admission - $500 || Medical students (with ID card) - $400
