The Department of Life Sciences hosts an ACP workshop titled Developing Integrated Systems for Plant Disease Management from September 5-6, 2014.    

The Inauguration Ceremony takes place on September 5, from 9.30am-11.30am, at the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology, and is open to all. 

Thereafter on September 5, and on September 6, the workshop is for invited participants only, and takes place at the Life Sciences Conference Room.  

The workshop aims to highlight the work done so far by UWI project staff and our partners and collaborators on the ACP-EU funded project “Developing sustainable disease management strategies to improve vegetable production towards self-sufficiency and food security in the Caribbean Region”. The workshop also serves to share results and give an opportunity to discuss areas for further collaboration. It is led by Professor Jayaraj Jayaraman and Dr Adesh Ramsubhag of the Department of Life Sciences.
