The Trinidad and Tobago Computer Society, the Internet Society Trinidad and Tobago Chapter, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers Trinidad and Tobago Section, invites the public to attend a Seminar on Network Neutrality, on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at the UWI Engineering Building, Room ENG 101, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Network neutrality (also known as net neutrality or Internet neutrality) refers to the principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favouring or blocking particular products or websites.
The seminar has been designed to engage all stakeholders in a broader discussion with respect to how we should move forward on the issue of network neutrality in Trinidad and Tobago, and will feature a panel discussion with representatives of various stakeholder groups.
Online seminar registration is available here.
