As part of a continuing series showcasing its collections of West Indian materials, the West Indiana and Special Collections Division hosts a lecture on sports on Thursday September 25, 2014, at 2pm, at the AV room, 3rd Floor, Alma Jordan Library.

Dr. Sybelle Williams, lecturer at the Department of Physics will present “Society - Defined by the Sports we Play”, and Ms. Vaneisa  Baksh, editor of the St. Augustine Campus newspaper, UWI TODAY, will present, “Chasing Balls”, highlighting her experience as a cricket journalist.

These lectures are anticipated to be unique perspectives on an interesting topic - sports. Don’t miss it! All are invited!
