Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, lectures, and master classes

The St. Augustine Campus’ Confucius Institute is hosting a Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of the global establishment of the Confucius Institute network.   

Two celebrated Chinese artists have been invited, painter Zhao Yanbin and calligrapher Yang Chongguang, to exhibit their works, give a series of lectures, and hold master classes at the Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA), on Gordon Street, St. Augustine. 

The exhibitions and other activities take place from Monday September 29 to Friday October 3, at the DCFA. Opening hours: 9am-5pm. Admission to all events is FREE. 

All the works are on sale, and patrons will have the opportunity to reserve the works they wish to purchase. 

On Friday October 3, at 6pm, there will be a Donation Ceremony where the proceeds from the sale of these works will be donated to the Lady Hochoy Home.
