The Engineering Institute is facilitating a One Day Seminar entitled “Example Seismic Design of Reinforced Concrete Special Moment Resisting Frames to IBC/ASCE 7”, which will be held on Thursday 4^th December, 2014 at the Faculty of Engineering, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine.

The seminar will be facilitated by Dr. Satyendra K. Ghosh of S.K. Ghosh and Associates Inc. Dr. S. K. Ghosh is known internationally for his work in earthquake engineering. He has influenced seismic design provisions in the United States for many years by serving on or chairing numerous committees and advisory panels. He specializes in the analysis and design, including wind and earthquake resistant design, of reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structures.

The cost of this seminar is TT$3,000.00 per person. The package includes lunch & refreshments, all workshop materials, as well as a Certificate of Participation.
