UWI T20 Cricket Semi-Finals - New Date

The University of the West Indies presents the 3rd annual T20 National Competition in April 2015. 

Semi-Finals happen at the newly scheduled dates:

Semifinal 1: Friday April 3 at 2pm -  Moosai vs Clarke Road

Semifinal 2: Friday April 3 at 6pm  - Merry Boys vs Club Crusoe (of Tobago)

Look out for these players: 

Merry Boys - William Perkins, Marlon Richards, Amir Jangoo, Aaron Alfred, Aneil Kanhai, Javon Searles, Rayad Emrit

Club Crusoe - Navin Stewart, Marcus Daniel, Zard Clarke

Moosai - Jaron Alfred, Isaiah Rajah, Brian Christmas, James Dodds

Clarke Road - Yannic Ottley, Kyorn Ottley,  Sean Siloch, Derone Davis

Save the date for the Final match on Saturday April 4, 2015

Time: 6.30pm

The 2015 tournament had twelve teams, playing a preliminary round, quarterfinal round and semi-final round with undefeated teams progressing to the final, for a cash prize of TT$30,000.
 
There will be cash prizes for all teams progressing beyond the preliminary round, and prizes for man-of-match, “big sixes” and special bowling performances.
 
The tournament, which has the full support of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board will be played over eight days and will feature three double headers and two triple headers.
 
All matches will be played at the Sir Frank Worrell Cricket Ground of the UWI Sport and Physical Education Centre (SPEC), and will be open to students, staff, alumni and the public.
