Lunchtime Open Lecture - 'Latest Ideas on Pathogenesis of Asthma'

The Department of Clinical Medical Sciences in conjunction with the Thoracic Division of the North Central Regional Health Authority (NCRHA) & the Thoracic Society of Trinidad and Tobago will host a lunchtime Open Lecture  in commemoration of World Asthma Day 2015.

The topic will be "Latest Ideas on Pathogenesis of Asthma" -  A Lecture by Dr. Rene Albers, Member of the Scientific Board of Hospitals in The Netherlands

This event takes place from noon to 1pm

World Asthma Day 2015

World Asthma Day is an annual event organized by the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) to improve asthma awareness and care around the world. World Asthma Day 2015 will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 and the theme will continue to be "You Can Control Your Asthma." GINA will also continue to use the sub-theme, "It's Time to Control Asthma." We encourage activity organizers around the world to complete the sentence, "It's Time to..." as relevant to their event and target audience.

World Asthma Day takes place each year on the first Tuesday in May.
