The Department of Literary, Cultural and Communication Studies presents a workshop on “Political Anthropology in the Caribbean.”
This event is being held on June 11 and 12 at Lecture Theatre B, Teaching and Learning Complex, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.
The workshop consists of twelve presentations by anthropologists working in different parts of the Caribbean discussing questions of power, citizenship and the state based on our ethnographic research in various Caribbean societies, including Haiti, Cuba, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago.
This workshop is open to students and members of staff.
