Actor, producer, humanitarian, and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Danny Glover is visiting The UWI as a guest of Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Hilary Beckles from October 3-6, 2015.

He will deliver a public lecture today at the Mona Campus as part of his itinerary.

In commenting on the visit, Sir Hilary said that "Danny Glover has a lot of insights to offer not just in navigating the landscape of Hollywood as a black actor, but through his many experiences, travels and achievements, he has a perspective on so many issues that are relevant to Jamaica today and can inspire our students and faculty and the general population.”
