The Caribbean Economic History Association (Asociación de Historia Económica del Caribe, AHEC) and the University of the West Indies present the "3rd Annual Conference of the AHEC" with the theme "The History of Investment in the Caribbean." 

This event takes place at The UWI St. Augustine Campus, Teaching and Learning Complex (TLC) from November 4-8, 2015.

A public Opening lecture by Prof. Dr. Sir Hilary McDonald Beckles entitled, The Caribbean Economy: The ‘South’ of the ‘West’ takes place on November 4 at 6pm at the Teaching and Learning Complex, Lecture Theatre E.
