The Department of Chemistry in conjunction with other The UWI St. Augustine Departments' UNDP GEF-Small Grants Programme entitled, Science Education as a Climate Change Resilience Strategy (SECCRS): Advancing green technologies through community participation and practical science education for our children is featured in the Green Screen – The Environmental Film Series’ film premiere of A Better Place.
The event takes place at 6pm and includes a Benefit Launch and Cocktail Reception at Digicel IMAX, Port-of-Spain. The film was produced by Carver Bacchus, Managing Director of Sustain T&T and directed by award winning filmmaker Miquel Galofré.
Tickets are $150 and can be purchased at the Digicel IMAX box office, Port-of-Spain (Cash Only) or call 745-6017.
