Department of History International Men's Day 2015 Panel Discussion

The Department of History presents a Panel Discussion in celebration of International Men’s Day 2015 on the topic, Making a Difference for Men and Boys.

The discussion takes place at 7pm. All are invited.

Featured speakers include:

  • Dr. John Gedeon, Office of Planning and Development
  • Ramia Coleman, UWI Student Guild Canada Hall of Residence Chairperson
  • Jonathan St. Louis-Nahous, Peer Counsellor’s Association

The aim of the discussion is to address the objectives of International Men’s Day including a focus on mens’ and boys’ health, improving gender relations, promoting gender equality, and highlighting positive male role models. It’s a chance for men to celebrate their achievements and contributions in particular their contribution to the community, family, marriage and child care while highlighting the discrimination against them.
