The UWI Arts Chorale and the UWI Steel, under the musical direction of Head of the Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA) and The UWI St. Augustine Senior Lecturer Jessel Murray present Handel’s Messiah including the beloved Hallelujah chorus.

Nationally known soloists Turon Roberts-Nicholas, soprano, Marlon De Bique, tenor and Krisson Joseph, baritone, will join the Chorale’s own Vidia Harroo, mezzo-soprano.

This presentation of this masterwork is in line with the DCFA ensembles presentations of the finest choral/orchestral literature and follows complete performances of the Orff Carmina Burana, the Bernstein Chichester Psalms, and the J.S. Bach Magnificat in previous years.

The event takes place Sunday December 6 at 5pm at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Harris Promenade, San Fernando.

Tickets are priced as follows – General Admission: $125; Seniors/Students: $100 and will include a free tea plate.
