The Department of Management Studies hosts a Public Lecture by Mr. Vladimir Borkovic, Founder and Director of Street Football World on the topic, Sport Development: How to become a champion in life and in sport.

The lecture takes place from 2 to 4.30pm. All are invited.

Biography of Dr. Vladimir Borkovic

Dr. Vladimir Borkovic a native of Pancevo Serbia studied Psychology at the University of Belgrade where he obtained his Masters in Sport Science.  He then went on to complete his Doctorate in Human Sciences at the University of Postdam in Germany.

He is one of the three founding members of Street World Football, one of the leading sporting foundations in the world.  Street Football World is also a Partnering Foundation of FIFA. In his role as Director of the Network he is responsible for the creation, development and implementation of the networks programmes.  His scientific expertise and interests lie in applied socialization theory and in developing community-bases monitoring and evaluation systems.

In addition he lectures in the FIFA Master in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport and through them has had the opportunity to lecture in over 30 countries around the world.
