The UWI Afrikan Society presents Lavway: The "I" in Soca.  

A  journey that will explore snippets of the life of the late, great, Ras Shorty I, formally known as Garfield Blackman. A combination of art forms will be used to tell a story too magnificent for words alone. From theatre to singing to spoken word and West African and Caribbean Folk dancing and drumming. 

The event takes place on from 6 to 8pm.
