The Department of Paraclinical Sciences presents two lunchtime lectures by Dr. Sergio Crovella from the Department of Genetics Federal University of Pernambuco Recife (Brazil):

Thursday January 28 | noon to 1.30pm | Topic: Mevalonate kinase deficiency (MKD) molecular genetics and novel pathogenic mechanisms at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Amphitheatre A

About MKD:

MKD is a rare autosomic recessive auto inflammatory, metabolic disease. There are two different forms: Hyper IgD syndrome (HIDS); Mevalonate Aciduria (MA).
