The Department of Chemical Engineering will be hosting a presentation by Prof Jarka Glassey CEng FIChemE, Prof. of Chemical Engineering Education, University of Newcastle, UK on the topic, Chemical engineering education and profession of the future: How IChemE as a professional body can support advancing both.
The presentation takes place from 5 to 6.30pm.
Prof. Jarka Glassey leads the “Pedagogic Research in Chemical Engineering and Materials” Group and is also Chair of the “Education Special Interest Group” of the IChemE. She is visiting the UWI as the lead assessor of the assessment visit for the reaccreditation of the Chemical Engineering programmes at the UWI by the IChemE.
