The Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) presents a Forum on the topic: Violence Against Women: A Political Issue? 

The presentation takes place from 10am. 

Panellists will present in the following order: 

  • Dr. Gabrielle Hosein, Lecturer, Institute for Gender and Development Studies
  • Mrs. Margaret Sampson-Browne, Manager, Victims and Witness Support Unit
  • Mr. Amilcar Sanatan, MPhil Student, Institute for Gender and Development Studies, UWI, St. Augustine
  • His Mayor Worship Keron Valentine 

The session shall be chaired by Professor Patrick Watson, University Director, SALISES, UWI, St. Augustine.
