The Social Work Unit hosts their International Conference titled Promoting Human Worth and Dignity: Social Work and Social Development in Trinidad in honour of their 25 year Silver Jubilee celebration.
Registration opens from 8 to 9am and the Opening Ceremony beings at 9am.
The conference runs until 4pm at the and features keynote speaker Dr. Sandra Edmonds-Crew, Dean, School of Social Work, Howard University.
The day continues with Oral Presentations by conference panelists addressing the following themes: social work; criminal justice and schools; youth; elderly and aging and conflict resolutions.
The cost is $200, payable at the Bursary, Account #28675249668.
There will also be a national Social Work Expo on March 17 from 10am to 2pm at the JFKA Auditorium and all are invited to attend.
