Monday 21 March 2016 marks the 11th anniversary of World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD).
Each year the voice of people with Down syndrome, and those who live and work with them, grows louder.
Get ready to celebrate this year’s theme, Rock Your Socks by wearing your loudest most colourful socks on Thursday March 24 at noon at the JFK Quadrangle to raise awareness and take a group photo.
Continue to raise awareness by using the hashtag: #MyFriendsMyCommunity.
This event is part of a campus-wide initiative and the promotion for The UWI Network and Outreach for Disability Education and Sensitization (NODES) 1-day Symposium. Save the date for NODES happening on Saturday April 23.
