The Institute for Gender & Development Studies (IGDS) presents the following seminars by Graduate Gender Studies Candidates: 

  • 9.30 to 10.30am | Amilcar Sanatan (MPhil Interdisciplinary Gender Studies) presents on the topic, Masculinities in the 21st Century Caribbean: Exploring Masculinities, Privilege and Androcentrism through Caribbean Essay Writing.
  • 11am to noon | Merisa Thompson (PhD Interdisciplinary Gender Studies) presents on the topic, On the Farm and Out at Sea: The Gendered Relations of Power in Two Trinidadian Food Complexes.’
  • 1.30 to 2.30pm | Angélica María Rodríguez-Bencosme (PhD Interdisciplinary Gender Studies) presents on the topic, Sitting on Artifacts of Gender.
