The Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) and the Institute for Gender and Development Studies (IGDS) host the GATE: The Future of Higher Education and Development Forum.

The forum takes place from 10am and will be chaired by Dr. Angelique Nixon, Lecturer and IGDS Graduate Studies Coordinator.

Panelists include:

• Dr. Lovell Francis, Minister of State, Ministry of Education

• Professor Rhoda Reddock, Deputy Principal, UWI, St Augustine

• Dr. Roger Hosein, Head, Trade and Economic Development Unit, UWI, St Augustine

• Makesi Peters, President of the UWI Guild of Students
