Tune into the live telecast of Vice-Chancellor of The University of the West Indies (The UWI), Professor Sir Hilary Beckles speech at Harvard University’s one-day conference. The conference’s theme is Universities and Slavery: Bound by History.

The conference takes place on March 3 and Sir Hilary’s panel discussion focusing on Slavery and Universities Globally begins at 3.15pm EST. Other panellists include:

• Max Price, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Town

• Christiane Taubira, former Minister of Justice (France)

The discussion will be moderated by Alejandro de la Fuente, Robert Woods Bliss Professor of Latin American History and Economics; Professor of African and African American Studies and of History; Director, Afro-Latin American Research Institute, Harvard University.
