SALISES Forum on The Safety, Health and Empowerment of Women in T&T

In commemoration of International Women’s Day 2017, the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES), in collaboration with the Organisation for Abused and Battered Individuals, presents a Forum on the theme, The Safety, Health, and Empowerment of Women in Trinidad and Tobago.

The forum takes place from 10am and will be chaired by Professor Patrick Watson, SALISES Director and panelists include:

  • Sherna Alexander, Founder and Executive Director of the Organization for Abused and Battered Individuals
  • Ansley Garrick, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Trinidad and Tobago Police Service
  • Dr. Gabrielle Hosein, Head, Institute of Gender and Development Studies, UWI, St. Augustine
  • Professor Gerard Hutchinson, Head, Clinical Medical Sciences, UWI, St. Augustine
