The UWI St. Augustine Faculty of Law in collaboration with the British High Commission presents a Panel Discussion on Perspectives on the Death Penalty: Sorting Fact from Fiction.

The discussion takes place from 5 to 7pm.

Distinguished Panelists include:

  • Douglas Mendes SC, President, Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago
  • Mark Pritchard, UK MP and Co-chair of the All Party Parlimentary Group (APPG) on the Abolition of the Death Penalty
  • Mme Michèle Duvivier Pierre-Louis, Commissioner at the International Commission against the Death Penalty (ICDP) and former President of Haiti
  • Jadia Jn. Pierre, Student, Faculty of Law
