The UWI presents the 3^rd instalment of the Classic Concert series honouring national legend and father of soca, the late Garfield Blackman with The Journey – From Lord Shorty to Ras Shorty I.

 The concert takes place at 6pm. Featured performers including Rikki Jai, Gypsy, Explainer, Olatunji and of course the Blackman family – Nehilet, Isaac, Eldon, Abby, Sheldon Blackman will pay tribute by performing a Ras Shorty I classic and a song of their own. All proceeds will be donated to the Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA) Theatre Hall Fund.

Tickets cost $500TT for all patrons and will be sold at UWI Administration Building and Queen’s Hall.
