About the Communication Studies Research Expo 2018
Communications Studies Research Expo 2018 is based on the exciting, cutting-edge research projects conducted by our final year Communication Studies students. The focus of their dynamic projects this year was to explore the divisive communication issues facing the Media, the Public, the Health Sector, the Education System and other major contemporary arenas for debate such as Gender and Disability. The booth displays where their research will be visually and verbally articulated will be an exhilarating experience for anyone who is interested in becoming a more informed consumer of media. The theme “COMMFUSION: Making Sense of Our World” is geared towards a better understanding of the power of competent communication within a rapidly changing world ridden with many challenges for not only our young people, but all citizens.
