About UWI STAT’s , The eye of the storm: the implications of the Paris Agreement/Climate Change and the "Right to Life" for Caribbean youth Forum

This initiative will form part of the 70th Anniversary celebrations of The UWI as Climate Change is in fact a reality for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) like our Caribbean Nations. This was easily evidenced by the most recent Hurricane Season. The Corps believes there is a great need to educate and sensitize our region, particularly youths, on strategies to mitigate against this threat. UWISTAT feels it is important to champion, bring awareness and meaningful discussion to; as well as cause positive action in the Climate Change arena. The UWI has over 50,000 students and the aim is to transform them into Climate Change Advocates.

The live stream will be streamed at www.uwitv.org
