About the University Council Meeting

A central feature of the proceedings is Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Hilary Beckles’ detailed report to the Council on the major advancements across the four campuses of The UWI for the 2016/2017 academic year – inclusive of financial, administrative and academic, as well as projections for the future of the University. Themed The Missing Link: Research and Innovation, the Vice-Chancellor’s report will discuss the University’s strategy to drive regional economies out of the doldrums and into the mainstream of global economic recovery.
