A Alma Brasileira – The Brazilian Soul Musical Celebration and Benefit Concert

The Portuguese and Brazilian Studies Section of the Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics (DMLL) in collaboration with the support of the Embassy of Brazil, Port-of-Spain presents A Alma Brasileira – The Brazilian Soul: A Musical Celebration of the Independence of Brazil and Benefit Concert.

 The event serves as a fundraiser for the students of the Section and will feature the music of Bossa Nova and Samba with leading local vocalists. 

Be there on September 6 at Queens Hall to view this musical showcase as follows:

  • 1pm | Matinee Show (for UWI students and senior citizens) | Cost: $20 – Students; Senior Citizens - $100
  • 7pm | Benefit Concert | Cost: $300 – General; $400 – Reserved
