The Kashmir Question

The Department of History will host a seminar from visiting Professor of Indian Studies Rattan-Lal Hangloo titled, “The Kashmir Question”. The seminar will be on Thursday 13th March, 2008 in Room 309, 3rd Floor, Main Library from 1:30 p.m.

Professor Rattan-Lal Hangloo, a specialist on South and Central Asia with special reference to Indian History, Culture and Politics, has also headed the Department of History at the University of Hyderabad, India. He has more than forty research papers and half a dozen books to his credit. Some notable titles include: “State in Medieval Kashmir (Manohar Publishers) New Delhi 2000” and “Agrarian System of Kashmir (1846-1900) [Common Wealth Publishers] New Delhi 1995”.
