The Institute for Gender & Development Studies (IGDS) presents a Lunchtime Seminar with Vijaiya Ramkissoon, postgraduate candidate in Sociology on the topic, An Autoethnography of Postcolonial Indo-Trinidadian Womanhood.

The seminar takes place on April 3 at noon at the IGDS Seminar Room.

About the Seminar

Ms. Ramkissoon explores the complex and multivalent ways in which Indo-Trinidadian women enact their identities and subjectivities as they navigate cultural conceptualizations of authenticity and hegemonic ideals.
