The Department of Political Science in collaboration with One Young World, hosts the Duty in the Midst of the Crisis Reflections on the 1990 Attempted Coup with The UWI Professor of Practice, Winston Dookeran.

The discussion takes place on July 22 at 6pm at the Learning Resource Centre (LRC).

About the event

Twenty-nine years after the 1990 Attempted Coup in Trinidad and Tobago, and five years after the Commission of Enquiry on the Attempted Coup reported, Mr. Winston Dookeran, who was in the Chamber when the Parliament was invaded and who was released by his captors to set up an interim government, even before the insurrectionist surrendered, is now prepared to reflect on his call to Duty in the Midst of the Crisis.
