Mr. Lyndon Gill will be the presenter at the most recent Lunchtime Seminar hosted by the Centre for Gender and Development Studies (CGDS) on Wednesday 19th March, 2008.
The seminar, “Uses of Vexation: Preliminary field notes on Trinbagonian queer cultural production, erotic subjectivity and disciplinary promiscuity” will be held in the Seminar Room from 12:00 noon – 1:30 p.m.
Mr. Gill explores the usefulness of same-sex desire to Trinbagonian life and artistry and outlines a plan for research that would encourage direct attention to the experiences of Trinibagonian gay communities.
